Successful Networking Techniques Workshop

Joblink Job Search Strategy Group

This strategy group is a place for job seekers with disabilities to network, brainstorm, and problem-solve in a supportive and collaborative environment. The group is facilitated by JVS staff in a forum in which group participants can discuss their job search with a special focus on the challenge of working with a disability including understanding workplace accommodations and the American’s with Disabilities Act. Participants will be able to discuss concerns, receive constructive feedback and achieve practical strategies for taking the next step in the job search. This workshop is open to the public and held on a drop in basis. There is no pre-registration required.

How to Link Through LinkedIn: Level 1 Workshop

Jump Start Your Online Job Search Workshop

Attend this JVS Workshop to how to begin your job search on the Internet. Using the internet to conduct your job search is a crucial first step to the job search process. Learn how to search for jobs online, apply to jobs on the internet, and use the internet research companies that interest you. Please bring your current resume on a PC-formatted disk and the name of one business or company that you would like to research. This course assumes familiarity with using Microsoft Word and Internet Explorer in a Windows-based environment.

The FUNdamentals of Online Applications Workshop
